Third Year in a Row with the Rugged Case Line

Still my favorite case on the market! I love the gentle inward curve along the sides that makes it feel natural to place my fingers. And I love how most of the case feels like the perfect thickness while the corners get extra padding for added durability and confidence. The new Camera Control support this year is also an excellent touch!

Great case for someone active

I like Nomad brand and have been using it since the days of 13pro, so when it was the time to update to 17 pro I knew I have to check them out and I was really glad to find this case as it was a perfect match to what I see my phone should look like and how it should be protected on all my hikes.

Things I like:

1. Lay flat no more one side higher than another etc.. yeah, it’s thicker but I don’t mind it, in fact like it.

Added benefit - that flat area around “camera plateau” makes it possible for me to use ND glass without light coming from either angle. I was even thinking of 3d printing an attachment with those filters. Kind of like Cokin filers (Nomad product team, let’s collaborate) lol

2. I still can use this case with my DJI gimbal.

3. MagSafe SSD sits very well and secure.
