Modern Leather Case - iPhone 18 Pro Max | Black | Horween

I recently purchased the Nomad Horween Leather Case in Olde Dublin for my iPhone 18 Pro. The leather feels excellent, and the case is comfortable to hold, but I’m disappointed with the protection offered by the front bumper lip.

With a screen protector installed, the lip barely extends above its surface, leaving very little protective clearance. My screen protector has already chipped at the edge and developed a crack during normal everyday use, as shown in the attached photos. This raises concerns about whether the lip provides adequate protection.

For a premium case, I would expect sufficient lip height to accommodate a screen protector while still providing meaningful protection.

I purchased a second case when I upgraded to the iPhone 18 Pro Max after my first one did a great job protecting my 17 Pro Max! The case took it on the chin while admirably protecting my 17. The case has a great feel in the hand and great protection after a few harsh drops, including in concrete!

I think I'm on my 5th leather case from Nomad for each time I change phones. Very dependable and great to use with the phone. The buttons feel great to push with the case on and has a nice touch to the phone each time it's in my hand.
