This is a nice looking case with a few design flaws. The screen lip is pretty much flush if you have a screen protector, the case is very slippery and the camera control button clicks way too easily. Despite these things, I still like the case and don’t regret buying it. I’m now using a popsocket to help with the grip and I’ve selected the double click option to avoid accidentally triggering the camera control button.
The buttons on this case are very clicky and satisfying and the edges are mostly smooth.
It’s not the first time Nomad have released a ‘Volt’ case for iPhones. I like the “sport” styling of these cases, they provide protection without making making the phone feel bulky, the finish is matt and unlike the previous version this one has protection for the camera control button on the right side of the phone. The remaining buttons are well protected and have a good tactile feel about them.
Gen1 of this case protected my 13PM for three years. Only made sense to come back for another.
