What is a "preorder"?

While orders that include in-stock items ship out almost immediately from one of our warehouses, a preorder includes a newly released product that is not yet in stock and therefore will not ship out right away. Preorders are opened once inventory of the newly released product is on its way to our warehouse, but not quite ready to be shipped to our customers. We ship Preorders as soon as the product inventory is recieved at our warehouse.

*We will ship your items separately if part of your order is preordered, including orders that are shipping to destinations outside of the U.S. This means that the items in your order that are ready to ship will be sent together, and the preordered item in your order will ship separately as soon as it is ready. This way, you can get your items as soon as possible!

Why was I charged immediately for my preorder?

We charge the payment method for your order at the time of purchase to prevent any “surprise" charges once your order ships.

How do I cancel or change my preorder?

If you would like to cancel or change your order, please reply to your order confirmation email or send an email to support@nomadgoods.com with the word "cancel" or "update" as well as your order number in the subject line. We will respond to cancellation/update requests during our business hours of M-F 9am-5pm. We are not able to cancel or change any part of an order once it has shipped from our warehouse.

Please double check all information before confirming your order. Once an order is placed, there is no guarantee that we will be able to cancel or edit the order, even if the status still states "Unfulfilled" or "Pending Fulfillment".

Is Base Station Pro compatible with all of my devices?

Current software is compatible with:

Apple devices: iPhone (8 and newer), Airpods Pro, Airpods with wireless case (made by Apple)

Samsung devices: 2019 and newer

 

Coming soon:

Google devices: Pixel 4 / 3, Pixel Buds

*We will update our compatibility list as devices get confirmed. FreePower® software releases are easily updated on Base Station Pro through Mac and Windows computers. These software releases will provide improvements, bug fixes, and additional device compatibility.

 

Apple Watch (all series and models):

The Apple Watch does not charge with Qi. We are working hard on a solution for Apple Watch that will be announced in 2021.

What should you know about FreePower® wireless charging before using your Base Station Pro?

Base Station Pro, with FreePower™ technology, enables a truly positionless charging experience. A matrix of 18 coils allows you to simultaneously charge up to 3 devices at up to 7.5W per device anywhere on the padded leather surface.

Proprietary FreePower™ algorithms rapidly locate your device, creating virtual coils directly under your phone or other Qi-enabled device. The 18 dedicated charging coils work intelligently together to form an electromagnetic coupling to your device's power receiver.

This means that you never have to worry about finding the "sweet spot" on the charging surface ever again. Simply place your phone anywhere on the surface and it will effortlessly begin to charge.

What type of power adapter does Base Station Pro use?

Base Station Pro is powered by a 30W USB-C AC adapter and a USB-C to USB-C cable that is 2m in length. Adapters for US, UK, EU, and AU are included with Base Station Pro.
