I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about the wrist strap. This is the first time I’ve ever used something like this. But i find it to be enormously useful on my 17 Pro Max. Installation was a little tricky in the Horween case, especially if you use wired charging. It’s a precise fit to get the proper tolerance so the cable can clear the case.
But there are issues. Most notably, the strap falls off frequently - nearly once a day. This is because the metal ring that threads through the Kevlar strap has a small gap. It seems like it would be better during manufacturing to use a solid ring, thread the Kevlar through, and then glue it.
Because the metal ring can work itself off the strap, it’s starting to fray the edge of the Kevlar. I think this will greatly reduce the wear of the strap.

Love the newly designed wrist strap being balanced in the center point of the phone. It's a little more durable than the previous anchor point only strap. Can confirm that it fits nicely in my iPhone *16* Pro case, you just need to make sure it is seated all the way at the bottom of the case so that there is enough slack to make sure it does not obscure the charging port - so far no issues with charging! Overall I am glad that I upgraded and I bought another as a gift for my best friend.
