Traditional Leather Case - iPhone 17 Pro Max | Rustic Brown | Horween

I love the leather but the camera control button sticks out too far and catches on things. I contact ed support 3 days ago about trying an exchange but I haven’t heard back yet. I’m not sure if they are going to get back with me. If not I will have to return the case.

I specifically got the Traditional Leather Case because it says it is a full wrap. But that is clearly not true. When I put the phone down (screen up), there is a metal ring that touches what I put it on. It is not leather. That ring is around the camera bump and provides good protection for the camera but it is not wrapped in leather.

Very disappointed. Given how that metal is designed, they could have slanted the outside a bit and done the leather wrap over it - thus having the strength of the metal for protection while still having the soft and smooth surface of leather. I do not dare put my phone down on my wood console in the car as it would leave scratches - nor does it sound or feel good when I put it on the desk at the office. It does not feel good in the hand when you touch that metal ring.

I am very disappointed in a case that is so costly and claims full leather wrap and then failed to deliver on that promise.

PS - my prior phone was an iPhone 11Pro and the leather case I had for it was perfect - good leather that was such that putting the phone down felt and sounded good - and no point of the case ever felt like anything other than leather. It was not a Nomad case but the company that made it no longer make leather cases.

I’ve bought many Nomad products over the years as I expected premium products. However, in my most recent order I received a “iPhone 17 Pro Max” case even though I ordered an “18 Pro Max”…support told me it is identical but within less than 24 hours of usage the leather is already peeling.
