Modern Leather Case - iPhone 17 Pro Max | Burgundy | Horween

From the moment it arrived and I held it in my hand, I was convinced: "This is a fantastic case."

I bought the black model. The finish transitioning from the resin sides to the leather back is beautiful and looks very premium. The resin sides don't feel cheap at all. The leather has a smooth texture that fits comfortably in my hand.

I also appreciate that there are two lanyard holes flanking the speaker holes on the bottom. The buttons provide great tactile feedback and are very easy to press.

This case is undoubtedly one of my best purchases of 2025.

I’ve been a loyal customer to nomad for ages, absolutely love their products and this is no exception. However the case is certainly not as red as shown in the pictures, it’s very dark, appears deep brown in most lighting and has only a very subtle reddish hue under the right lightning conditions.

The Modern Leather Case for the iPhone 15 Pro Max has been a solid choice so far. The Horween leather feels premium without being overly soft, and it gives the phone a clean, understated look. The fit is precise, especially around the camera bump and buttons, and the case maintains a slim profile that doesn’t make the phone feel bulky.

The leather has already started developing a light patina, which is something I appreciate, though it may show marks sooner than expected depending on lighting. Grip is good, and it still slides easily in and out of pockets.

Overall, it’s a well-made case with quality materials and a refined appearance. A strong option if you want a minimalist leather case that complements the phone rather than overpowering it.
