My last water bottle was stolen.

Generally speaking, I'm pretty good at taking care of my belongings. However, for some reason, I keep losing my water bottles again and again. Hopefully, this solves this issue once and for all. I bought my Hydro Flask specifically so I can use this product. The real test will be the next time I leave my water bottle at a random place, but so far I'm satisfied.

If you’re into paying more for loss prevention accessories than the cost of a replacement water bottle, you’d think that this is exactly the product for you! Unfortunately, with the all-in cost of the item and shipping, I’m still not quite satisfied. Perfectly serviceable, but you’ll be disappointed if you’re hoping for that seamless premium feel.

The good is that the holder seems to be made of a durable material, and the airtag fits nice and securely withinb it. The bottom side of it makes for a perfectly flat surface so your bottle will remain stable.

What irks me oh-so-slightly though is that the holder isn’t able to completely fill the space around the circumference of the bottle, so you can definitely feel aseam and the boot doesn’t seat quite as fully On the bottom of the bottle. I could imagine that it might be more likely to snag and come off if you were pulling the bottle out of a bag.

No fault of the product, but one minor inconvenience is that the airtag sits just far enough away from the bottom of the boot that you can’t take advantage of the airtag’s NFC functionality in case you want to trigger a shortcut by tapping your phone to the bottle.
